There's never an excuse for lounging around on the beach like Homer Simpson in the picture above! Both during and after the season ends in May each year we plan a number of extra activities for club members. These include practical workshops, walks, talks and outings, so bring your camera along and join us for some 'extra curricular' activity!
SSCC Annual Lunch 2020
Our annual lunch for members and their guests is being held at
The Langham Hotel, Royal Parade, Eastbourne on Saturday, February 22nd 2020. There will be a drinks reception in the bar at 12.30pm where a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink will be provided, followed by lunch at 1.00pm.
A 3-course lunch will be served, to be followed by coffee and mints. A selection of specialist teas will also be available.
The cost for 3 courses will be £28.00, and should you wish to eat a little less, the cost for 2 courses will be £22.00.
Sorry, but drinks at lunch are not included within this price.
The menu and booking slips will be available from Julian Chamberlin from 13th January. Payment in full will be required at the time of booking. Payment can be by cash or cheque made payable to ‘Seven Sisters Camera Club’
Every person attending the lunch will be given a ticket in our grand draw, which will take place at the event. The prize is FREE membership for one for next season, commencing September 2020.
Throughout the season (Sept - May) we offer a number of informative lectures, and details of forthcoming and recent presentations can be seen on our News tab. Our lectures are open to non-club members who are very welcome to book a seat by using the Contact Us tab.
SUMMER WALKS 2019
The evening of Monday 15th July 2019 was warm and pleasant for our final walk of the summer which started at The Plough and Harrow, Litlington. The walk was the best attended of the season, and naturally our keen SSCC photographers took their cameras with them.
